Disable Nvidia Hairworks in the graphics settings to prevent crashes.
- Delete the mod folder or run the script merger to rebuild scripts.
- Remove or update the Extra Skill Slots and Mutations mod if present.
Add the launch option --launcher-skipcheck to Steam to bypass the launcher check.
Launch the game via REDprelauncher.exe (found in the game folder) instead of the Steam library.
Delete or rename the .settings files in Documents\The Witcher 3 to reset configuration.
Run x64/witcher3.exe (DX11) or x64_dx12/witcher3.exe (DX12) directly from the game folder.
Verify or clear the shader cache in D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\shadercache\292030 to fix possible corruption.
Disable the Steam overlay in the game settings or Steam client.
