Disable the EA App in-game overlay to reduce severe frame pacing spikes.

Set the graphics settings for Sun Shadow Coverage and Sun Shadow Detail to Low.

After reconnecting, open voice or text chat and then re-enter the match controls; if movement and shooting remain locked, leave and rejoin if the game allows it.

Run the EA App as administrator, clear its cache via Settings → App Recovery → Clear Cache, then repair the Apex Legends installation.

Disable fullscreen optimizations for the Apex Legends executable and then verify integrity of game files in Steam or your launcher.
