Arma 3 is a large scale military simulation sandbox on PC that focuses on realistic combined arms warfare across massive open world battlefields. Featuring both sci fi and contemporary scenarios, it includes extensive singleplayer and cooperative campaigns, standalone missions, challenges, and official multiplayer modes, with ballistics, vehicles, and infantry combat modeled for authenticity. Players can fight on foot, drive armored vehicles, operate autonomous systems, or pilot helicopters and jets across varied terrains, and can fully customize loadouts with a broad arsenal of weapons, attachments, and gear. Verify the game files in game launcher.
Run the game as administrator and temporarily disable overlays or background apps that hook into games.
Update graphics drivers from NVIDIA/AMD/Intel, ideally with a clean install if the issue keeps happening.
Cap the frame rate or lower a few heavy graphics settings.
Make sure the client’s mod list matches the server’s. If you’re the server admin, repair the mods, verify the server mod files and the “-mod=” parameter, and add any missing mods to the server.
