About this game
From the creators of Divinity: Original Sin 2 comes a next‑generation RPG that plunges you into the Forgotten Realms, where an ancient evil threatens to consume Baldur’s Gate and the fate of Faerûn hangs in the balance. You awaken with a Mind‑Flayer parasite in your brain, and every choice—resist the corruption, turn darkness against itself, or embrace it to become the ultimate evil—shapes your power and the story. Build a party of up to four companions or play solo, selecting from a wide array of D&D races and classes or a hand‑crafted origin character, and experience adventure, loot, combat, romance, and the bonds of trust that may be your greatest strength. Powered by the new Divinity 4.0 engine, the game offers unprecedented freedom to explore, experiment, and interact with a world that reacts to your decisions, while a cinematic narrative pulls you deeper into the conflict between devils, deities, and otherworldly forces.
