Crusader Kings III is a medieval grand strategy RPG where you guide a noble house and its dynasty across generations. Starting in 867, 1066, or 1178, you can rule as a king, count, or even a landless adventurer, building power through marriage, diplomacy, warfare, intrigue, and faith. The game spans a vast map from Scandinavia and the British Isles to Central Africa, the Horn of Africa, India, and Burma, with thousands of counties, duchies, kingdoms, and empires to claim. Characters have traits, lifestyles, and inherited qualities that shape their behavior, while heirs, guardians, agents, men-at-arms, knights, mercenaries, and Holy Orders all play a role in securing your legacy.
