About this game

Dota 2 is a multiplayer online battle arena game and the stand alone sequel to the Defense of the Ancients mod. It is one of the most played games on Steam, with millions of players choosing from over a hundred distinct heroes in five player team battles. Regular updates keep gameplay, features, items, and the hero roster evolving so that no two matches feel the same. Any hero can take on different roles, letting players shape their own strategies without strict constraints. All heroes are available to everyone, with cosmetic upgrades as optional extras. New and experienced players can learn and improve through co op versus bots, hero demo tools, and behavior and skill based matchmaking.

Make sure Dota 2 is fully updated, as recent patches regularly change client and server libraries and scripts, which can reduce freezes and random disconnects.

Drag items slowly and one by one from the stash to the courier and release the mouse only when the courier model is highlighted to improve pickup reliability.
Avoid issuing purchase or move commands when another player disconnects; wait a few seconds after a disconnect before controlling the courier to prevent unintended selection of other couriers.
