Hell Let Loose: Vietnam is a large scale, tactical first person shooter set in the Vietnam War, featuring intense 50 vs 50 multiplayer battles focused on communication, coordination and realistic combat. Fight as either the North Vietnamese Army or the US Armed Forces across six expansive maps that recreate real world jungle, river and mountain environments, with dynamic lighting and weather variants. Choose from 17 specialised roles spread across infantry, recon, armour, mortar squads and US only helicopter units, following a chain of command to secure objectives. Use historically authentic weapons, patrol boats, tunnels, helicopters and commander abilities while enhanced movement options, dynamic river networks and multiple modes such as Warfare, Offensive and additional rotating game types create highly immersive, emergent battles.

Restart the PC and then relaunch Steam before starting the game again.
In Steam, open the game properties, go to Installed Files, and run Verify integrity of game files to repair corrupted data.
Update the GPU drivers to the latest version using Nvidia GeForce Experience, AMD Adrenalin, or Intel's driver assistant, then restart the PC.
Delete the DirectX shader cache using Windows Disk Cleanup, then reboot before launching the game again.
Clear any custom launch options for the game in Steam so the launch options field is empty, then try starting the game again.
Disable overlays and close background apps before starting the game.
Install or reinstall the required Visual C++ redistributables (including Visual C++ 2013 and Visual C++ 2015–2022 x64 and x86), then restart the PC.
Add the game folder to Windows Defender and any third-party antivirus exclusion lists so security software does not block the executable, then retry launching the game.
- Open Steam, right-click the game, and select properties.
- In launch options, first set -dx11 and test the game.
- If it still crashes, change the launch option to -dx12 and test again.
