About this game
Mixtape is a narrative adventure about three friends on their last night of high school, heading to one final party together. A carefully assembled playlist pulls them into surreal re-creations of their defining moments, letting players journey through a mixtape of memories that capture the highs and lows of adolescence. Across varied vignettes, you move from first kisses and last dances to joyful sequences like skateboarding, flying, sneaking photos in an abandoned theme park, smashing baseballs, and launching fireworks from a car. From Beethoven & Dinosaur, the BAFTA winning team behind The Artful Escape, it channels classic coming of age films, blending mischief, nostalgia, and the bittersweet feeling of growing up, all set to a soundtrack featuring DEVO, Roxy Music, Lush, The Smashing Pumpkins, Iggy Pop, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Joy Division, The Cure, and more.
