About this game

Rust is a multiplayer only open world survival game set on a hostile island where everything is trying to kill you, from wildlife and enemy factions to starvation, exposure, and other players. You wake up naked with only a rock and a torch, then gather resources, craft tools, clothing, weapons, and build fortified bases to store loot, defend territory, and raid others. Procedurally generated worlds, community map editing, and server hosting with mod support keep each wipe fresh, while deep systems for farming, electricity, automation, and transportation like horses, cars, trains, boats, helicopters, and more expand your options. Regular monthly updates add new maps, biomes, enemies, monuments, vehicles, underwater and deep sea areas, and large graphical and environmental upgrades, ensuring Rust’s brutal struggle to survive keeps evolving year after year.
