About this game

Windrose is a PvE survival adventure set in an alternate Age of Piracy where you can fight on land and sea, solo or with friends. Build, craft, and explore procedurally generated biomes filled with hidden mysteries, hand‑crafted dungeons, and quests. Recruit a crew, command a ship—ketch, brig, or frigate—through brutal naval combat that blends cannon fire and boarding actions, with seamless transitions between ship and shore. Defeat challenging bosses, trade with factions, and uncover supernatural forces as you pursue revenge against Blackbeard and a growing conflict among empires and pirate clans. Customize your ship, build settlements, recruit NPCs, and use a wide arsenal of melee weapons and firearms, parrying, dodging, and chaining strikes while buffing yourself with food and potions. Play solo offline or in co‑op with up to four players on self‑hosted or dedicated servers; procedural generation ensures each journey feels unique, and progress carries over between worlds.
