About this game

DayZ is a hardcore open-world survival multiplayer sandbox set in a post-apocalyptic, infection-ravaged world where the only objective is to stay alive. There are no missions, quests, or checkpoints; death means losing everything and starting over. With no map markers, mini-maps, or guiding HUD, you rely on observation to manage hunger, thirst, temperature, disease, and injuries while scavenging for every weapon, tool, and ration. Infected humans, wild animals, harsh weather, and other players all threaten your life. Up to 60 survivors share each server, letting you trade, cooperate, deceive, or kill as you see fit. Explore massive, authentic terrains like Chernarus and Livonia, repair vehicles, build bases, hunt, fish, farm, craft gear, and seek rare loot at dynamic events. Every decision shapes a unique survival story.
